Our Staff

Pastor Devon Ortiz came to Victory Baptist Church in January of 2005, after receiving his Bachelors of Ministry degree, and served as an Assistant Pastor for nearly 7 years. In February of 2012, God called him to move forward as pastor of the church. He has an intense burden for the unsaved and a great love for the local church. To that effect, Pastor believes that all aspects of the ministry share these common goals–the equipping of the saints, the evangelism of the lost and the edification of the body of Christ.

With a firm belief that it is the preaching and teaching of God’s Word that changes lives, Pastor Ortiz unashamedly desires to preach “…all the counsel of God.” (Acts 20:27)

He along with his wife, Stephanie, were born and raised in the Bay Area, and now God has given them the great opportunity to serve in Fremont alongside their three children Chloe, Evangeline, and Liam.

Brother Ping and his wife, Kezia, leads our youth ministry. They came to us at the start of 2016 because they believed God wanted them to grow under the ministry of Victory Baptist Church. So, that one day they may be able to return back to the Philippines as missionaries.

Brother Ping also serves as the College/Singles Adults director. While his wife serves in the music ministry as the main pianist and lead for our special music. They currently have three children: Karter, Eden, and baby Noah.
